4 Must-Have Experiences in Ibiza, Spain

There is way more than partying when it comes to the Spanish island of Ibiza. So, fair warning, if you're looking for some great party experiences, this isn't what this post is going to be about (sorry, guys!). Here are a few amazing experiences we had while in Ibiza, all of which I would recommend to anyone visiting!

Visit Es Vedra and nearby beaches

There are TONS of beaches in Ibiza; party beaches, calm beaches, really anything you could ask for! We spent one day going around the island of Ibiza and visiting the other beaches and islands off the coast of Ibiza. Es Vedra is one of the more famous spots in Ibiza known for it's magnetic energy. It's supposed to be the third most magnetic spot on Earth, but regardless if you believe in all of that it makes for some great pics!

Hippy Markets

This was definitely one of our favorite things we did in Ibiza. There are tons of markets and they are all in different locations and open during different times, so be sure to check out the ones you want to go to ahead of time. We went to the night market at Las Dalias, which is open from 7-1am during the summer. Needless to say we bought one too many things, but hey, you'll understand if you visit! The market had live music, vintage photo booths, handmade jewelry, and other artisan booths. If you're looking for a souvenir, this is your place. They also had food trucks and places to grab a drink.

Take a food tour

I'm big into taking food tours because I think it's the perfect way to see a new place and try their local food. I've had some good experiences and some bad, but the food tour we had in Ibiza was awesome. Ibiza Food Tours (that's the company we used) took use behind the scenes of a traditional Spanish bakery, showed us off the beaten path spots, and let us try all different types of food/drinks. We went on the morning tour, so we started our day with coffee and sweets, then moved onto savory dishes later in the day. I'd recommend the morning tour so you can get a variety of Spanish cuisine.

Visit the spa at Hacienda Na Xamena

My previous post was about this hotel (yes, this is probably the best hotel I've ever stayed at) and the spa at the hotel deserved to be in the spotlight. Even if you don't think this hotel is the best fit for your vacation, take a trip over for the one-of-a-kind spa experience. The Hacienda offers the Cascadas Suspendidas, which are a series of pools that have different temperatures and hydro jets. It was unlike anything I'd ever done before and the views definitely make the treatment a bit better! If this doesn't sound like your thing, no worries, the spa has plenty of other treatments to offer.

These are all great, must-have experiences in Ibiza! Regardless of what you decide to do on your trip, Ibiza makes it easy to have an amazing vacation.
