Le Marias, Paris’ trendiest neighborhood, is filled with must-visit coffee shops. While some are perfect for working the day away, others are perfect for a quiet lunch in Paris. Here are a few of our favorites…

Le Cafeotheque

This cafe, located right on the Seine, is great for setting up your laptop and getting work done. Unlike many other Parisian coffee shops, this one is actually pretty spacious with several seating areas to choose from. They are also pretty serious about their coffee and sell their own beans, which you can get a look at when you walk in! Like almost every coffee shop, they have a good selection of sweets, as well as small lunch options like quiche and even empanadas. On the weekend laptops aren’t allowed

Fragments

Fragments is definitely one of the more popular cafes in the Marais. This picturesque, cozy coffee shop is perfect for a light light, tasty desserts, and an amazing cup of coffee. While this isn’t an environment for a laptop, it’s a great lunch break. You can find things on the menu like avocado toast, scrambled eggs, and other small options. We would recommend going during a weekday because on the weekends there is almost always a wait for a table!

Partisan Cafe

Another ideal coffee shop to work at in Paris is Partisan. This spacious cafe is one that we could definitely spend all day in. When the weather is nice, they will open all the doors and the environment is unbeatable! This is definitely a coffee shop to add to your Paris journal on the app.

Neighbours

This super small cafe is located on popular shopping street, Boulevard Beaumarchais, so its great for a lunch break in between shopping. You’ll find breakfast items on their menu like scrambled eggs on sourdough crumpets and French toast with caramel sauce. Come early though, because their kitchen closes at 2. Once you’re done with breakfast/lunch, head over to the famous French concept store, Merci, which is right down the street.

Yellow Tucan

Yellow Tucan may be our favorite on the list. This cozy, inviting coffee shop is just a few minute walk from Places des Vosges. The best part about it is how calm the environment is, which makes it the perfect work setting. Not only is the atmosphere great, but the coffee is also amazing! Their dessert selection seems to vary a bit on a daily basis, but you can expect to find some items like brownies, cookies, carrot cake, and more.

Cafe Berry

If you’re in search of a healthier option, then Cafe Berry is perfect for you. Their menu is made

up of healthy conscious choices, like the Zatar toast with fresh cheese, pomegranate seeds, herbs, olive oil, and more deliciousness! Cafe Berry’s sweets are also health conscious using coconut oil and other gluten-free cooking ingredients. This isn’t a place to bring out a laptop, but perfect for a lighter lunch when the rich French food just becomes too much!
